Cops decided not to come as they felt they weren't needed, and they weren't. We caused no problems.

Operation: Fair Game Stop - May 10th

The name of this protest says it all. Our goal is to stop the use of Fair Game.

Everyone is welcome to come down and protest.

If you wish to come, meet at Parc La Fontaine at the corner of Rachel & Papineau at 11am.
At noon we march over to the "church" which is about 2 big blocks down the street.

Main Rules:

No weapons.
No violence.
Stay legal.
Make sure you know why you're there.

The cops will be on-hand closely watching the protest, anyone and we mean anyone who starts something or even tries to start something will be escorted away by the police, given a ticket or arrested.

You are strongly urged to wear a mask. We cannot force you to wear a mask, but by not wearing one you put yourself at risk.

If you intend on wearing a mask and bring one...do not wait until you're at the park to put it on. you should have it on well before you get to the park.

If you don't have a mask, but want one...hopefully someone is generous enough to give you one.

May 3rd Downtown Mini-Raid

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 - 5 anon's went to give free hugs and hand out fliers. Turned out, only OnTheNetAnyway gave out free hugs though.

Our mini-raid took place right across the street from a protest to legalize weed, so we ended up giving them lots of hugs and fliers. And I know what they did with those fliers... ;)

All in all, it was an epic win. We reached out to a lot of people, and hopefully some of them come to the protest.

Radio Canada on CCHR

Another report on a Scientology front-group by Radio Canada.

This time they speak about the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), and how they are putting pamphlets against psychiatry in people's mail boxes around Quebec.

The pamphlets accuse the creation of ADD and other psychiatric disorders on psychiatrists.

Nowhere in the pamphlets does it say the CCHR is related to Scientology, which shocked people that Radio Canada told.

On the 12th day of April, Anonymous will be in the streets once again to protest against the crimes of $cientology.

This time, we will be informing people about $cientology's politic of family disconnection.
It is known that families are torn apart by this cult : members can't talk to their relative because they are seen like negative elements that could ruin their members' lives.

I really want to thank everyone for showing up. I felt good vibes coming out of everyone because everyone seemed motivated, even with the bad weather we had.

Pheeww..Anonymous finally delivers. I've managed to gather all the pictures from the ones who were present on Sunday. The result : a "best-of" compilation of 206mb.
You must be saying : "Oh, wow, 206mb of pictures, that's ALOTT". In theory, it's alot. But in facts, you need to consider that there's 354 pictures and that .rar, and some of them are taken with great cameras (that means very high definition, so big file).

Hey everyone, this is a quick message regarding the protest that took place today. The weather was kinda though at the beginning but when the snow stopped, it was a bit more comfortable.

I won't get in details regarding the event, you can google around and find info. In the following days, I will be uploading some rar'ed files containing most of all the pictures taken during the event. We meet on the 10th of February at 11 a.m. at Parc Lafontaine at the crossing of Papineau and Rachel. (see the map)

At 12am we start to move toward the church that is only a few block up Papinau. By 1pm EVERYONE should be at the church

When we get there we just have to spread along the sidewalk or in the alleyway that is just left of the Scientology church.

This WILL be a peaceful protest.
Nothing illegal Nothing violent.
We have collaborated with the Police, they are supporting our right to have this protest. They will be there to protect us.
Anyone doing anything illegal/violent or that will cause a problem with the protest will quickly be reported to the police and will be removed.

GUIDELINES:

1. Remember rules 1 & 2.
2. No violence whatsoever, this is a peaceful protest. We want the media and population on our side.
3. Try and avoid as much as possible the "WTO Protester" attitude and style.
4. Beware of cold, bring warm clothes. Gloves are a must.
5. Beware of thirst & hunger, even though there are several places where you can buy food and water try to bring some instead.
6. NEVER give out any personal information to anyone, including other protestors. Scions could be hidden in the mass.
7. Dress decent, wear a mask or face cover. Conceal your identity, remember we need to stay anonymous, anonymity is our only defense.
8. Respect the cops say, they are on our side.
9. Don't respond to the Scions bullbaiters. Ignore them and never confront them. INSTEAD' TAPE THEM AND REPORT THEM TO THE COPS, harassing and intimidating someone expressing his opinion by picketing
10. Limit what you have on you, leave any personal information at home, this include your wallet. Only bring an ID card and Hospital card, make sure they are well concealed and out of reach of the Scions.
11. Protest peacefully protest effectively.
12. Keep meme's to yourself, bypassers won't understand them.
13. Do not feel threatened by scions they will not touch you. IF THEY DO PLAY IT LIKE IN RULE 9
14: Document the demonstration. Videos and pictures of the event may be used to corroborate your side of the story if law enforcement get involved.
15. Stay together, even if some anon wants to go to pee stick to a minimum of 4 people per group.
16. Don't leave anything unguarded, it WILL disappear.
17. I STRONGLY recommend that each and everyone of you bring a backpack, no handbags or bullshit like this.

What is required in the backpack:

- Some food
- A bottle of water
- Moar propaganda to hand out
- IF YOU HAVE A TALKIE WALKIE AT YOUR HOUSE OR KNOW SOMEONE THAT CAN LEND YOU ONE BRING IT it will be VERY handy
- Conceal all your personal stuff (ID, pokemon cards, bus pass, cellphone,etc...) in the front pocket of the bag.
-and dont forget to keep room to store unexpected things

The well-known magazine from the UK is once again delivering a good report. In the yesterday's edition (January 31st), we can read about the general aspects of the war between Anonymous and Scientology. And, on a brighter note : they talked about the event of the 10th.

On behalf of most of Anonymous forces, we would like to say that we're not hackers. Some of us might be using some illegal techniques to weaken the Organization, but remember, DDoS attacks are not always considered like "hacking".

French Scientologists Arrested in Italy

Everything is in the title, pretty shocking isn't it?

"Three French members of the Church of Scientology, suspected of holding a fourth person against their will, were arrested Monday in Nuoro, Sardinia, a local police spokesman told AFP. "The three people belong to the Church of Scientology, whereas the person being held was probably not a member," Fabrizio Mustaro, of the Nuoro Prefecture on the Mediterranean island, told AFP.

Police were alerted by a phone call that reported cries for help coming from a house on Mount Ortobene, near Nuoro, said Mustaro. Officers found a 47-year-old woman of Tunisian origin sleeping semi-naked on a mattress infested with vermin. She was subsequently hospitalised. Three other people at the house, a 42-year-old woman and two 18-year-old men, one of Tunisian origin, were arrested and charged with kidnapping.

The three suspects had been living in the Nuoro region for about year, said Mustaro. They had so far refused to speak to officers, he added. All three were due to appear in court late Monday or early Tuesday."
